But, all the wannabe writers are following the same phenomenon that the Bollywood follows. They write for the masses, which is subsequently de-emphasizing the quality of writing.
Without any offence to anyone, even if you are published, don't consider yourself a writer. Anyone can get published these days and you are just that 'anyone'. The basic thing that's lacking here is 'creativity' and it's unfortunate that i also belong to the same category of people who suck at it.
This social media has made everyone a writer. You start writing anything, there are people to praise you. But that appraisal is not worth it. You know why? Because it is just filling you up with arrogance and diminishing your talent.
Moreover, being followed by hundreds of people on social media in which half of them don't even know what writing is and just follow you religiously because you write something related to love, doesn't make you a writer. Ah! this love has been the most trending topic ever. The same thoughts, the same pain, with some brand new complicated words of the same meaning.
Dear writers, you are not doing any good to the literature. So just for heaven's sake, please come out of the illusion that you are a writer and stop insulting it. We all dream to become successful in whatever we choose to do, but here, we just need to believe that "Everyone can write but everyone is not a writer!"
